I am a mom of two little girls and dealt with prolapse, hypermobility, and pelvic floor issues after my second. I tried for 18 months to get back into working out and kept having setbacks. This didn’t happen overnight, it was a lot of work: consistent breathing, smart strength training, footwork, and a shit ton of patience, (which I didn’t know I had).
Since starting Move Your Body I’ve lost 15 pounds. I notice that yeah, I’m leaner, but my biggest wins are that I’m not nearly as crooked and my pelvis isn’t as dumped forward as it once was.

I made myself a schedule and stuck to it: lifting 3-4x a week for 30-60 min, riding my Peloton 2x a week for 30 min, and working in walking, yoga, foam rolling, and hiking along the way.
It was the same story with nutrition: I got out my kitchen scale, put together a plan, and executed. 25g of protein for breakfast, lean protein, tons of veggies (and don't forget 6oz of wine with dinner!).
When I started, I weighed around 188 lbs, and I lost ~23lbs, down to 165. The best part is that this lifestyle doesn't feel hard. I'm not killing myself with exercise and I'm definitely not starving. It's been 10+ months of slow, steady, sustainable progress.
I feel confident, strong, beautiful, and badass. I'm pain-free. I'm wearing stuff in my closet that was tight and uncomfortable a year ago. My shoulders are getting ripped, and I can see my abs peeking through.
